Comfortable and Robust Ankle Holster, The Ankle Buddy
The Ankle BUG is purpose-built for the comfortable, sweat-wicking, durable, all-day carry of a gun on the ankle. It is adjustable in both tension around the ankle and retention of the gun. Like all of our rigs, The Ankle BUG is made of Kydex 100, Grade A Leather, and mold-resistant UV-resistant polypropylene webbing. We always recommend these "harder-to-reach" carry positions for use with a Back-Up Gun, or BUG. We recommend the Ankle BUG for smaller pistols such as the P365 or a 2" Revolver, for example.

That first minute, well I’m jealously proud of you! Dude that’s awesome! I went from cargo and aerial refueling fixed wing planes in the MC to messing with rich folks planes that were bought at auction and needed avionics updates cash under the table. Idv loved to have had the chance to mess with the bigger aerial guns and gunships. Awesome career journey!

I just finished watching your series on this pistol as I quite liked the feel of the P365 in the store. I am just 2000 rounds into firearms ownership so most of this went over my head, but that's how it always goes with these technical things. I enjoyed your videos and hearing why the P365 is well designed and safe, but the biggest thing that stuck with me is when you showed off your holsters. I have seen the kybrid type before, but none that gave as much access to the handgun while in the holster. I have never carried, but while looking at other holsters I realized how clunky they would be to get a proper, secure grip quickly. I always strive to be as safe as possible with dangerous tools even in stressful situations, so I saw myself fumbling with other holsters. I am hitting the range to try out some P365s soon and you'll be the first stop I make when I get home. Thank you for all the work you've done and made available to us for free.

How well does this work for BIGGER GUYS. I usually carry IWB Strong side. But since my Shoulder surgery, about 7 weeks ago it’s pretty painful to reach back for my weapon. But I think the Cross Draw feels perfectly comfortable. And I used to carry my sidearm cross draw or on a Shoulder rig when I was in The Army.

If you're wearing high waisted pants I'd suggest getting your shirt shortened a little so you don't have as much material to pull out. For low waist appendix carry is also an option although the clips will be more visible of course.

This is not realistic training, nor appropriate for the shooters skill level shown. Whether you own a gun or will be around firearms you should absolutely get training but please go to a professional. I don’t mean to throw flak at these guys as they seem nice but this is just dangerous. If this was framed as them having fun then w/e but it’s framed in the context of actual training, which it clearly is not.

If you are familiar with the CZ P10M, what are your thoughts on that particular sku’s lack of a pin block? I like many, purchased one and later found out that it was the sole P10 unit without, which, as an obvious carry gun is hard to understand. CZ has not really explained why this to my knowledge. Is this something you might be able to look at and explain?

I would rate this video as almost useless. The idea that you can hand hold a pistol and make reliable and accurate adjustments to the impact points of the laser and align those points with the iron sights on your pistol is a ridiculous and dangerously amateurish idea. The wobble factor seems to be ignored by the guy who did this video.

I carry it in a belly bag. I noticed that the safety can get released by moving in the bag...making it ready to fire if it's cocked with one in the chamber. I wish the first shot was double action so I could carry it with a round chambered...and not worry about the safety being released by movement. Jacking a round into the chamber in an emergency is sometimes your lost opportunity.

I'm a southpaw and the exposed magazine release is an issue for me. Twice I've had a magazine pop loose while carrying concealed. One company suggested I use a kydex holster, but according to your video that won't solve the problem.

I’ve carried striker fired guns including the 365 for over 8 years. After the reports on the p320, I am slowly changing my mind. There is even a report with witnesses about a p320 going off in a well fitted Kydex holster. After sending the gun back to sig, they said the firing pin return spring failed. Well wtf, if something fails on a firearm it should ALWAYS fail to fire. Not fire. I’m going to a Da/Sa gun and when I use a striker fired gun, I will no longer carry with a round chambered.

I still believe that firing pin safety/spring design is the achilles heel of the CZP10. Also, mim parts do not have the greatest reputation. In fact, they are usually not preferable when something better can be used.

Great vid! Seeing how you cranking on that sear didn't bust it, that was definitely reassuring! Considering all of us who are carrying this pistol aiwb are flagging our nether regions all day, yeh that was a concern, the what if....mine's got the manual safety, but that would do nothing with the sear broken off. In regards to that little spring, I think that may be the "return" spring which Sig eventually omitted for the P365. That's why the striker kind of rattles in there when you pull the trigger while the pistol is not cocked, and then tip the barrel up or down. I think that's also why the thumb safety will or won't engage, depending on barrel position when last pulling the trigger in the uncocked pistol. In any case, awesome testing bud, thanks much!
